Hodge Road

Fremont Peak up the 395. My absolute favorite place to camp : )

So one of our most favorite things to do is go camping. This past weekend we just went up the 15 fwy. to Hodge road one of the King family's favorite spot.

We usually stay one night, sit by the campfire, roast some hot dogs for dinner, smores for dessert, have a couple beers (or seven), smoke cigars, look at the stars, and enjoy life. In the morning we wake up early and ride motorcycles all day long. We usually have some sort of "ride" to ride too. When we stay up at Hodge road we always ride to Slash X cafe and have dinner. Its in the middle of the desert, you can get there by car but usually everyone rides for a little ride snack. So... this trip was very eventful one for me.. It was my first time actually riding! I usually beat my intestines around sitting on the back of my husband banshee! haha. So yes , I learned how to ride. It was very intimidating but surprisingly easy. I have never drove anything manual so it was definitely an experience! I can now say I am confident enough to go all by myself on some sort of expedition, yay for me! And you know, you ll see me tearing up those X games! ha ha, so just kidding : )

But anyways, we had such a good weekend, we love going out to the desert and spending time with family!

Hopefully we will be going up somewhere for thanksgiving weekend!
