Fathers day weekend.

Cody worked a long day on Friday and I did things around the house, getting things ready for Brody to spend all day Saturday with grandma! One of Codys friends got married Saturday on a yacht in Newport beach! Was tons of fun & very beautiful! The whole time we were wishing Brody was there with us. We knew how much fun he would of had on the water and looking at all the boats pass by. We have never been on a yacht wedding but heard alot about them! I would recommend it for anyone! It was alot of fun, & very beautiful. I get sea sick walking down the street and I was suprisingly fine :)

On Sunday we had planned to go to breakfast for fathers day but Brody sort of ruined our plans! He woke up too early and right when we got in the car he fell asleep. We didn't want to wake him so we got Cody's second favorite breakfast, cowboy burger :) we then headed over to Cody's parents. We hung out outside, bbqd burgers and did presents! We then headed to my parents and did the same! A very wonderful fathers day with the best families & beautiful weather!

Monday Funday.

Monday's are actually a good day for me. I only work for a couple hours & dont start until 6pm, yipee. I get to eat dinner with the family non "rushingly" and at a decent hour rather than 300, and I get all my cleaning & laundry done in the day :) (usually)

On the menu tonight was BBQ ribs, fettuccine,( my favorite )sautéed Bella mushrooms, and an artisan roll. Not only are they sautéed mushrooms they are Julia's sautéed mushrooms :) I gave Brody a little handful, he looked at them with the dirtiest looks and said "ewwww" I was suprised he actually took a bite of them, before spitting them out. Cody blends them in with all his other food so he doesn't taste them. I on the other hand would be very much pleased if that's all my dinner consisted of :)

I worked with prowlerz tonight at the gym and they did great. Working on new stunting skills & perfecting there tumbling! When I got home the kings had just won the Stanley cup finals! We then watched the dodger and angel game. Sad to say our boys lost this one. Go big blue! Yes, I couldn't finish the bachelorette because the game was that good... Good thing I taped it :)

Can't believe it's been so long!

I can't believe I haven't written in over a year! I've missed writing on here so much! Now that I have the official "blogger app", I know I will be on here more documenting our life day by day :) it got too hard uploading pictures, writing & organizing on the computer with a crazy kid that won't let me do anything unless it's with him.

This past year raising Brody has been one amazing ride. His first birthday to his second has been one of the best years of my life. He has grown up to be such a sweet little boy. He is talking like Crazy and amazing me everyday with the things he does & says. Being a mom is the best thing I've ever experienced :)

This past year we have done our yearly routines, birthdays , bbqs, summer camping trip, Christmas during November & December, and doing our everyday life routine. I guess I will start right up and tell y'all what we did today.

This morning I headed over to the relay for life cancer survivor fashion show. My mother in law is a breast cancer survivor of 10 years and she modeled Some cute clothes! We ate lunch, bought raffle tickets, ate cake pops and had a great time. :)

Brody went to a quick job with Cody and had the time of his life! Cody then took him to get lunch and to the "weeee" (the park). We met back at home and hung around the rest of the night. We watched the kings Stanley cup game , the dodgers game , watched the quakes fireworks , then turned on some Netflix & decided to watch "what's eating Gilbert grape". Cody had never seen it , and he liked it! After the movie i got a little emotional ( like i do after every movie) lol. All & all we had a great Saturday and tomorrow we are probably going to be poolside ! Hopefully it will be hot! Thanks for reading! See ya mañana!
